BACK FROM SAN PELLEGRINO

…to be continued..
The anomalous temperatures of this December made us spend our first mini meeting unharmed from snow and mountain’s frosts. At Passo San Pellegrino we allowed ourselves walks, both on foot and by mountain bike, in the most quiet and desert nature of Dolomiti. And of course meetings with sponsors, new team mates and staff too. Back to the valley, I started immediately my work again, with a brand new bike and at the gym. Fortunately the weather is good, but something tells me that it won’t last for long. Cold is coming, exactly in the days when I’m going to run to a warmer place. I hope there will be the sun in Sardinia.
I spoke about the meeting, my training, the weather..now can I speak about music? Since I have known the Ball and Chains, I rediscovered a genre that I already knew but that I had put aside. Blues, rockabilly, boogie, more classical rock’n’roll…from Jonny Cash to Elvis Presley, from Chuck Berry to the rolling Stones. I love the music of my days, from the 90s on, but that genre of the 30s and 50s drives me crazy. It creates a carefree, ironic and pleasant atmosphere all around. That’s what I need during the hard trainings of the beginning of the season. So during these days, I’m devoting myself not only to looking for Italian rock (ministri, zen circus, tre allegri ragazzi morti and similar) but also to rockabilly..it makes me feel good and the sound of the harmonica relaxes me well.
Now I leave you to some pictures.

Walk at 2000m at Passo San Pellegrino

Back at home to train in Valsugana and at the Garda lake

This picture to go back to the 30s and 50s not only with the music J
